Art Teacher

Reports To: Head of School / Academic Principal

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, caring Art Teacher who will help students from kindergarten through high school develop artistic skills, express their creativity, and appreciate God as the Creator. The teacher will provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction while integrating a biblical worldview.

Responsibilities:

Plan and teach lessons in drawing, painting, digital art, and other art techniques.
Create a positive, organized classroom that encourages creativity and respect.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Manage art supplies and maintain a safe learning environment.
Coordinate student artwork displays and support school events.
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with families as needed.

Requirements:

A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s mission and statement of faith.
A bachelor’s degree in art, education, or a related field preferred.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience teaching art or working with children preferred.

Our Statement Of Faith

1. We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
